WoW Quests Are Better Than Grinding

By John Moore

If you are looking for a interesting and fun game, try World of Warcraft. In this game, there are two techniques that can be used used when trying to increase a characters level. These are known as grinding and questing. We will talk about what grinding is first.

Grinding involves blind killing in an area close to your characters level: you kill everything you can find and then search for more things to kill in that area. As you work the area killing the natives, or non-natives, as the case may be, the game will drop certain rewards, and give you experience points, both of which will help you to level up your character.

One of the benefits to using this method is being able to pick up the items that are dropped for you. You can then later sell them at the Auction House or to vendors in a nearby town. In order to be more profitable, it is wise to save the money you earn by selling things so that you can buy the largest bags possible. This will allow you to collect even more items as you are grinding.

It's important to just focus on enemies that have the same level, or near enough, as you; if you try to take on higher level creatures, you'll stand a greater chance of getting killed. Just be on the lookout wherever you are for these dangerous foes, and don't draw any undue attention from them. Make sure that you stock up on your potions so that you can easily heal if trouble starts; you can also keep food and water handy so that you can recharge after the fight. Don't just overuse your abilities in order to stay safe; space them out so that they aren't cooling down when you need them the most, which can spell doom for your character.

Questing is the other method used to increase the level of your character. It entails going on quests that are built into the game and successfully completing them. These quests are not only enjoyable, but they also provide you with a lot of experience points. It is just as good of an idea to keep a good supply of food and water with you when you go on quests, just like you would while grinding. It may also be beneficial to go on a quest with other people and complete the quest as a group. This allows you to enjoy another element of the game, by being able to play it with other people in your community. You may have to incorporate the grinding methods explained above while you are questing, because often you either have to find items dropped by some animals or fight to collect the quest items needed.

In my experience, people enjoy questing more, and seldom rely on grinding for gaining experience points. By questing, you will be able to enjoy the game a lot more, and you are able to see a lot more of Azeroth.
