Cast includes Susannah York, Patricia Hodge, Roy Kinnear, Michael Medwin, Peter Eyre, Nickolas Grace, Dursley McLinden, Colin Dale, Bill Paterson, Jimmy Nail, and Saeed Jaffrey. (94 minutes, 1984)

Rambo: Much better than part II, this one continues to be firmly footed in the genre of mindless action films, as our brawny idol goes behind Russian battle lines in Afghanistan to save his buddy from a prison fortress. You will see lots of eruptions to keep the action going and some funny stuff thrown in too. Cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Richard Crenna, Marc de Jonge, Kurtwood Smith, Spiros Focas, and Sasson Gabai. (101 minutes, 1988)

This loud satire of individual and cultural brutality gets worse as it goes along, regardless of the attempts of an excellent cast. Cast includes Joan Allen, Jeff Daniels, Andre Braugher, Gary Sinise, Josh Brolin, Robert Forster, and Anna Paquin. (97 minutes, 2000)

The Egg and I: Colbert is admirable as a city gal who weds poultry farmer MacMurray and battles to make things work on his farm. Cast includes Brendan Gleeson, Jon Voight, Adrian Dunbar, Sean McGinley, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Angeline Ball, and Eamonn Owens. (124 minutes, 1998)

Jack Frost: A neglectful dad dies in an automobile mishap and comes to life one year later as a snowman in his child's front yard! Nice, likable acting and an absence of violence make this an alright family film. However, it on no account conquers its quintessential issue, an extremely weird premise. Cast includes Michael Keaton, Kelly Preston, Mark Addy, Joseph Cross, Henry Rollins, and Dweezil Zappa. (95 minutes, 1998)

Irreconcilable Differences: A bittersweet comedy of a young couple that wed and found success till prosperity in Hollywood causes them to lose sense of what's seriously vital in their lives. The outcome is that their 10 year old baby girl sues them for divorce! Cast includes Ryan O'Neal, Shelley Long, Drew Barrymore, Sam Wanamaker, Allen Garfield, Sharon Stone, and David Paymer. (117 minutes, 1984)

Cowboys Beat Falcons Behind Romo's Big Day

By Ross Everett

Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo has been plagued by inconsistency over the past two seasons, but on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons he was in top form. Romo threw for 311 yards and 3 touchdowns with no interceptions as Dallas ripped the visiting Falcons by a final score of 37-21. Backup receiver Miles Austin had another solid game in place of injured starter Roy Williams, with 171 yards receiving and two touchdown grabs. Both teams are now 4-2 on the NFL season.

NFL betting enthusiasts who backed Dallas as -5' home favorite were rewarded with a pointspread victory. The Cowboys evened their mark against the NFL pointspread at 3-3, while Atlanta slipped to 4-2 against the number.

In his postgame comments to the media, Romo gave props to the undrafted Austin for making the best of his opportunity:

"He's definitely a big part of this offense. I'm glad to see all his hard work and effort is paying off."

Dallas owner Jerry Jones commended Romo on his big game:

"I think that you've got a wiser and you've got a more experienced Tony Romo than of old, and I think you see he's still got some of that instinctive thing that he can make plays and make winning plays."

The Cowboys' defense pestered the Falcons' Matt Ryan into two interceptions, and 34 year old Keith Brooking was a big part of that. Based on his comments after the game, there may be some 'sour grapes' after he was cut loose by the Falcons after 11 seasons in an Atlanta uniform:

"The last thing I was told by one of the coaches is this is a young man's game. I guess an old man can still play in this league."

Patrick Crayton returned a punt for a touchdown and caught a Romo pass for another. Cowboys' coach Wade Phillips had this praise for him:

"Crayton is the kind of guy you want on your football team. He's going to make plays when he has opportunities."

Losing quarterback Matt Ryan had little to say about the defeat:

"It's frustrating because we feel we can play better."

Atlanta has a difficult road challenge ahead as they travel south to face the red hot New Orleans Saints next Monday night. The Falcons have been installed as +10 road underdogs with the total set at 54. Dallas will host the Seattle Seahawks this weekend, with the Cowboys a -9' home favorite and the total set at 45. They'll play on the road the following two Sundays against the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers.

The Canuck Fan Condition

By Lisa Ovens

Well let's see ...so far we've has a sum total of two home games this post season. What does that get us? The Province Newspaper is asking readers for parade route ideas, a facebook group has been created to petition the engraving of the late Luc Bourdon's name onto the Stanley Cup the Canucks have yet to win, and we've had our first riot in Surrey, oops, my mistake, our first riot at the Surrey/ Delta border (Surrey slash Delta: what? Neither area wants to own up to the riot so they decided to share it?).

The Canuck fan condition at its peak? I doubt it.

I love the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and I am forever fascinated by what it does to everybody. When the Canucks are in the playoffs, there are two kinds of fans: those that get ahead of themselves and think the Cup is ours, and those that don't. And listening to the two groups clash has become a regular event for me these days. One side gets pumped up, and then the other side swoops in and tries to settle it down.

These are exciting times, and reveling in our first ever sweep is pretty cool. Yes, we are on our way to somewhere. Personally once I see the Aston Martin DB9's cruising around the Westside accessorized with Canuck car flags, I will know the fever has thoroughly spread. Until such time, I'll continue to check out the crazy Canuck online poll questions, peruse new Canucks Facebook groups, and make time to sneak away from the Internet, the chatter on sports talk radio, and soak up a little sun while its here. Living in the moment is about all I can do.

The Canuck Fan Tradition:

There are fans out there wanting to establish new Vancouver Canucks playoff traditions. I guess the simplicity of waving a white towel isn't enough for some anymore. Singing one verse of the anthem without the aid of the anthem singer doesn't cut it either, despite the fact fans in other NHL Cities love the way we do it here in Vancouver.

Thanks to Calgary's mighty Sea of Red, some Canuck fans, especially the younger ones, are either suffering from feelings of inadequacy or just desperate for something to call their own. Color coordinating the crowd in GM Place will take some time and some work. The Flying V and Skate logo enthusiasts aren't about to change to the new colors and logo now.

How many traditions do we really need? Are people really going for quantity over quality? For those wanting more consider early parade route planning a tradition. And due to multiple Canucks uniforms and logos, we could add identity crisis to the list.

But still we should feel good about the playoff traditions already in place.

Have no fear, little ones, ours is a Sea of Eras, and it sings in unison, united by white terry cloth and the enduring desire to see the Canucks and the Stanley Cup slowly make their way down our city streets.

Top 8 Ways To Spot A Poker Bluff (Even Online!)

Spotting a poker bluff online is tricky. In offline play, you can watch body language and get physical cues as to when someone is bluffing. Usually unless they are a professional, all poker players give off signs they are bluffing through body language. Online, though, you don't have the ability to read body language, so how can you tell if someone is bluffing?

People still give off signals, even online, that they are bluffing. Some are better at covering, but others are a little loose and easy to catch. Either way, the following are 8 ways that you can spot a poker bluff online.

1. Pay attention to chatter. Some people cannot seem to hold their tongue. Some people who bluff will be chatting away. What they say may not match up to how they play and that is what you are watching for. Players may just reveal their bluff in what they say without ever realizing it.

2. A person bluffing may raise before the flop and quickly raise again. They are driving up the pot and hoping you don't have a hand you feel confident about.

3. If someone jumps into the game quickly or chooses to sits out and then changes their mind right as the cards are being dealt then they are someone to watch. They probably won't have a good hand, but are simply impatient. If they keep raising or they call quickly then chances are they are bluffing.

4. It is always smart to watch someone who goes all in with a low show on the table. This person may just be ready to call it a day and figures why not go out on a high note.

5. Get to know playing styles. The best players mix up their style, but your average player will usually follow the same general patterns. If someone starts playing odd then they should be watched. They may have a good hand, but chances are they are trying to bluff. Get to know the other players styles so you can spot when things are not quite right.

6. Watch aggressive or loose players. If you notice someone who is always playing aggressively then you never really know when to trust them because they cannot possible have an amazing hand every time.

7. Another thing about watching players - watch what is shown at the end. If someone keeps falling short then you know they like to bluff and you will keep an eye on them in the future.

8. People who play fast are a danger. Someone who is just playing fast and not putting thought into what they are doing is a loose cannon. They may not even have a clue how to play. Don't let them get you. Watch what they play and don't buy into their bluff.

These 8 ways to spot a poker bluff should help you to start being able to cut through the bluffs that are thrown your way online. After some practice and some time you should start to be able to spot online bluffs just as easily as you do during an offline game.

Selecting The Ideal Karaoke Song To Sing On Stage

By Fidelia Chan

The heaviest determination that anyone has to make for karaoke is what song they should attempt on stage. There are literally hundred of thousands of tracks accessible with most karaoke sets, so it can be discouraging searching through the big book of songs, but if you keep in mind a few hints it will make your night better, and allow as much enjoyment as possible.

First, it is important to only choose songs that you can sing well and fits your vocals. Whether it is your first time or 101st time, you have to determine that you can attain at least majority of the musical notes you need. If you have a deep voice, there is no point of selecting music stars like Celine Dion or Whitney Houston, and the same goes for high-pitch voices; Barry White should be out of the question. Instead choose karaoke songs that accommodate within your range, and that way instead of worrying about if you can hit that tough note coming up, you will be able to loosen up and just enjoy the song.

Picking Out the right karaoke track also depends on what you are getting up stage for. If you are with friends, and looking at getting up as a group for a bit of fun, it is wise to pick out an up-tempo song that fits your mood instead of a dead ballad. If you are a regular, and want to take something a bit more serious, there is nothing wrong in selecting a slower song if you can address it.

If you're celebrating an adult / older folks birthday with a karaoke party. You need to recognize what songs to choose. Do your preparation. You don't want to select any old karaoke song; you require to take karaoke music that evokes a sense of nostalgia. Find what songs were fashionable when the party honoree grew up. Your easiest bet is to find the top 10 songs of each year or decade and establish your play lists around those songs.

But a little tip to remember about most karaoke bars is that most individuals are out to have a good time, so selecting a slow and depressing song that does not genuinely fit the ambiance of the room can have drastic outcomes.

In Conclusion, when picking out your karaoke song it is advisable to find a song with a melodic line and lyrics that you are at least familiar with. You do not have to acknowledge every song you get up stage for off by heart (thats why the karaoke screens are there to help you) but selecting a karaoke song that you have listened more than once or twice will give you a bit more self-assurance in performing.

Roulette Bandit

By Frank Shaw

Roulette Bandit is another roulette system I have tried. Anyone that has been looking for an online roulette system recently has no doubt come across this roulette bandit character and been intrigued by his website.

Pretty much every roulette system that I have seen on the internet comes with what I like to call a "sexy" website. What this means is that there are lots of bold claims about easy money and pictures of luxury resorts etc.

The roulette bandit seemed a lot more upfront about what you could expect with his roulette system and because I learnt a thing or two from his website I thought what the heck and decided to buy it.

So does the roulette bandit offer a good roulette system or is he just a marketing genius? Well at first glance the roulette bandit's system seems too difficult. I actually put it on the back burner for a while and didn't bother using it.

After a week of doing nothing I gave it another look over and tried applying some of the system. It actually worked. Some of the other betting systems that I use require a large bankroll to use but this system doesn't. It is a little slow but if you are patient enough you will win money.

After a few weeks of using the roulette bandit system I have seen slow and steady results. Other systems that I have used can win really quickly but can go on big losing runs. The roulette bandit system does not require you to place any large bets.

If I'm honest I've never seen anything like the system that the roulette bandit sent me. Most system and software packages that I have seen are very similar in the systems that they apply but the roulette bandit has definitely thought outside the box to come up with this.

My only slight reservation about the roulette bandit system is the complexity of it. You tend to find that most systems these days are in a software format and while some of them aren't very good they are very easy to use.

Because the roulette bandit just outlines his system and how to bet it requires some work to see the best results. Don't take what I am saying the wrong way, the roulette bandit explains his system very clearly it just requires some work to learn and apply it.

In conclusion to this review I think that the roulette bandit offers a very good roulette system and it is certainly up there with the best that I have bought. The best thing about it is the fact that you don't need a large bankroll and you will never need to place any large bets while still having the potential to win good money if you put the time in to use it.

How To Count Cards

Card counting is a common strategy used to play and win at blackjack. If you have wanted to learn how to count cards, but have been worried it is too hard, then read on. You are about to learn simple steps to counting cards that will get you started. If you want additional information there are plenty of great resources all over the internet that teach the various methods of card counting. This should be enough, though, to get you started in card counting.

The high-low system is one of the most common methods of counting cards. It is also one of the easiest systems to understand. Before you start to learn how to count cards, you need to understand that card counting is not really about counting the actually number of cards, but rather figuring the ratio of high to low cards that remain in the deck. It may seem confusing, but just follow along and you should start to understand.

Assigning Values

In the high-low system you will assign point values to each card. Low cards include 2,3,4,5 and 6. These cards get a value of plus one. High cards are the 10,jack,queen,king and ace. These cards get a value of minus one. Neutral cards are the 7,8 and 9. They get no value assigned to them.

To begin with learning to count cards you should practice memorizing the values of each card. Go through a deck over and over reciting the card values until you are sure you have them memorized.

Keep the Running Count

Once you are feeling that you have the card values memorized you can start working with keeping a running count. This is more practice to get you ready for the actual game.

To keep a running count you start with a value of 0. As you flip over cards from your deck you will add or subtract the values. For example, if you have a king, queen, 2 and 8 you would end up with a count of minus 1.

Keeping the running count will likely take much more practice that just memorizing the values. It is essential, though, that you get keeping the running count down perfectly. You should keep practicing until it becomes like second nature and you don't hesitate anymore in figuring the count.

True Count

Once you are ready to play an actual game and count the cards during the game you will go from a running count to the true count. To do this you keep the running count and divide it by the number of cards remaining in the deck. The true count will tell you what to bet.

If the true count is positive then bet more. If it is negative then don't bet as much. This allows you to play smart and only bet when you have a good chance of winning. In the end you will likely win more than you lose. Card counting can be a great way to start improving your odds at the blackjack table and help you start to make more when you play.

The Historical Roots Of MMA: Muhammad Ali Vs. Antonio Inoki

By Ross Everett

The UFC has only recently brought mixed martial arts to the mainstream in the US, but in Japan there's a long tradition of fights pitting contestants from different disciplines against each other. While they've only been called MMA or 'mixed martial arts' in recent years, the sport clearly has its roots in these early contests between wrestlers, judo fighters and boxers. In Japan, Antonio Inoki's fights against world famous martial artists brought great notoriety to the still evolving sport.

Before and after his matchup against Muhammad Ali, Inoki would frequently compete against other martial artists in what are widely accepted to be "worked" (ie: having a predetermined outcome) matches. Inoki fought boxer Chuck Wepner, judo Gold Medalist Wilhelm Ruska and world karate champion Willie Williams among others. His most famous match internationally, however, was against Ali.

There's still much speculation about how Muhammad Ali came to fight Japanese wrestling legend Antonio Inoki, and even more uncertainty about what happened immediately before and during the fight. Ali took the booking because he thought it was to be a big paycheck for little work. Most accounts suggest that his handlers agreed to the 'worked' finish without his knowledge, and once he found out that he was to 'take a dive' he refused.

The rules that were in place on fight night were so ridiculously one sided in favor of Ali that it almost defies belief. Inoki wasn't allowed to hit Ali with a closed fist, nor strike him in the head at all. He was also prohibited from using any sort of choke or submission maneuver. Most problematically, he was prohibited from trying to take Ali to the ground. In other words, Inoki was basically not permitted to do anything that would threaten Ali with any sort of physical harm.

The painfully boring event that ensued was, despite many suggestions to the contrary, an actual fight. Inoki spent most of the match on the ground, unsuccessfully imploring Ali to join him and throwing kicks at his opponent's legs. Ali did even less throughout the match, throwing a few jabs and trying to protect his knees and legs. The fight was scored on a 5 point system, and ended up in a 74-74 draw. It's worth noting that Inoki had three points deducted for very dubious infractions: the first for throwing (and missing) with a drop kick, the second for throwing an elbow to Ali's head and the third for a swift kick to Ali's ribs. Had these deductions not occurred, Inoki would have won by decision. From a strict standpoint of scoring boxing, he probably deserved to win since he at least tried to execute a fight plan despite the restrictions he faced. For all practical purposes, however, a draw was the proper outcome. Both guys got paid and no one won, least of all the fans.

The fight was officiated by former pro wrestler "Judo" Gene Labell, a legendary tough guy considered at the time to be the 'baddest man on the planet'. He could have easily beaten up both men, possibly at the same time. That might have provided some much needed entertainment to liven up the tedious charade masquerading as a fight.

In the aftermath of the fight, Inoki's popularity was greater than ever--in a perverse way he was something of a hero due to his trying to fight despite the rules being stacked so soundly against him. He remained one of the country's most popular professional wrestlers and even enjoyed a career in Japan's parliament. Without missing a beat, he quickly resumed his series of fights against other martial artists who were apparently all more comfortable with the "worked" environment of pro wrestling. Among his "victims" was none other than Leon Spinks, presumably serving as some sort of vindication for his draw with Ali. The popularity of these matches led to a number of promotions that were essentially hybrids of martial arts and pro wrestling, and these led to the big Japanese MMA promotions of today.

Bicycle Injury Attorney at Law

By Jeffery Killino

As people all over America attempt to cope with the ongoing recession, new and different ways of saving money are becoming more and more popular. For many, that means clipping coupons for the first time in their lives, dining in rather than heading to restaurants, or simply putting off high dollar purchases. Some people are going as far as riding their bikes to work.

While saving money is certainly to be encouraged, it doesn't come without the added risk of bicycle accidents. 698 bicyclists died on US roads in 2007 alone. In an average year, over 90% of the accidents where cyclists die, involve bicycles and motor vehicles. In fact, the most frequent accident resulting in a cyclist death involves a man 17 years or older, without a helmet, riding on a high traffic road, between intersections, in urban areas, on a summer night that is then struck be a car.

With stats like that it should come as no surprise that any bicycle accident can result in serious injuries and possibly even permanent disabilities. In fact, on an average annual basis over half a million bicyclists will visit emergency rooms with injuries. Roughly 67,000 of those involve head injuries and 27,000 are severe enough to result in hospitalization.

Cyclists without helmets are 14x more likely to be killed in a crash than those wearing helmets. But quite often, the accidents aren't the cyclists fault. Many times the rider is helpless to avoid injury. If you or a family member have been injured in a bicycle accident, contact bicycle injury lawyer Jeffery Killino.

As a bicycle injury lawyer, Jeffery Killino has settled dozens of cases where bicyclists were injured due to negligent drivers, defective helmets or dangerous, inadequately maintained roadways.

The law surrounding accidents are incredibly complicated and vary greatly depending on the circumstances. If you've been seriously injured in a bicycle accident where you were not at fault, you may be able to receive financial compensation for your injuries.

Watch Tudors Season 3 Online Anytime, Anywhere

By Davion Wong

If you have been following the TV Series, Tudors, now on its 3rd season, you must know how more exciting every episode gets. Surely, you wouldn't want to miss it for the world! Well, you certainly won't have to do that because you can watch Tudors Season 3 online anytime, anywhere!

It sounds amazing, but technology has evolved so much over the years, and the power of the internet is beyond anyone's imagination. With the internet, there's no need to stay glued to your seat at the exact time your favorite show is on air. This means that even if you have someplace important to go to, you can still get the chance to watch your favorite TV show when you get home. Or if you have a laptop, for instance, you can even watch it while on the road, that's assuming of course that you are not the one driving.

Now, how can you download Tudors Season 3? First, you need to look for a site that offers downloading services. It's possible to get confused with the abundance of such sites, so visit review sites instead in order to narrow down your choices. 3rd party review sites will tell you which are the best downloading sites on the web today.

You'll eventually discover that there are generally two classifications of downloading sites --- free and paid. Like a great number of people, you may be easily lured into choosing a free site to download from. You must know, however, that free sites are not really safe and reliable. For one, they have viruses and spyware applications than can cause irreversible damage to your system. Free sites can also leave you frustrated by the length of time a single download can complete, if ever it can be completed in the first place, and also by the poor quality of the download.

In order to watch TV shows online, it becomes more sensible to download from paid sites only. Paid sites don't have resident viruses and spyware applications, to begin with, and you can be sure that you are getting your money's worth because of the superior quality of downloads.

You need to pay the one time membership fee so you can download as many files and as many time as you want. The amount is very minimal, lesser than the cost of a regular DVD.

If you don't want this option, another way you can download the episodes that you want is to pay every time you download. This is going to cost you more in the long run, however, but oftentimes, registration is not required with such sites.

Take some time to go over my site and see how else you can watch Tudors Season 3 online.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Review

By James Ronald Wellingston

So much is said about The Beatles legendary 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band but I think too much of what is said is about it's historical significance and the like. Not enough attention is paid to the music itself. And that's why with this article I'm focusing entirely on the music, one song at a time.

01. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" - This opening track really sets the mood for the entire album. The song shifts styles abruptly just like the album does from song to song. And of course the crowd noise and the entire "Sgt. Pepper" concept are introduced here.

02. "With a Little Help from my Friends" - I know there are quite a few people who think that Joe Cocker really did the definitive version of this song, but I'm definitely not one of those people. I like Cocker's version, but the original contains the real magic to my ears.

03. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" - This psychedelic journey through the mind of John Lennon remains one of the band's most famous songs. I love how it goes from the visions of the verse to the exciting sing along of the chorus.

04. "Getting Better" - The "it couldn't get much worse" lyric that Lennon added to this McCartney song is such a great example of the way that Lennon and McCartney made each others songs better even when they weren't righting them "eyeball to eyeball" like in the early days.

05. "Fixing a Hole" - Possibly the best lyrics Paul McCartney ever wrote. Another one of my favorites on an album filled with favorites.

06. "She's Leaving Home" - More great lyrics from Paul McCartney. What a gorgeous song too. Paul was definitely at the top of his game in 1967.

07. "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite" - How brilliant is it that these lyrics were taken entirely from an 1800s circus poster that Lennon came across? I believe a big part of real genius is being able to be inspired by things that most people wouldn't notice. This is a good example of that.

08. "Within You Without You" - Speaking of "far out" how about we go all the way to India? Some people don't like this song because it doesn't fit with their preconceived notions of what music is supposed to sound like. To me this song is brilliant because of that very reason. We shouldn't limit ourselves.

09. "When I'm 64" - Some people don't seem to get how "tongue in cheek" this song is. McCartney loved to mess around with different musical styles in this way. In fact I think Ween sort of ripped off their whole shtick from Paul McCartney. Listen to McCartney's "fruity" songs (as George Harrison called them sometimes) from the perspective of Ween doing them and I think maybe they'll click.

11. "Lovely Rita" - I have to admit that tracks #10 and #11 are probably my least favorites on the album. But considering I quite like both of those tracks, that says a lot about how much I love this album.

11. "Good Morning Good Morning" - There's some interesting time changes in this one. I also love the Jimi Hendrix style guitar leads by Paul McCartney.

12. "Sgt. Pepper's (Reprise)" - This one is even better than the album opener. It rocks something fierce!

13. "A Day in the Life" - This is the best example of John & Paul combining their ideas to be something greater than they were on their own. This is also the best song ever recorded by anyone. It's just pure brilliance.

In this article we are going to provide you guidance about our 1st scale, the Minor Pentatonic scale. Pentatonic is a special scale to learn, especially for guitar. It is commonly the first scale. It is pretty easy, and it works really well over simple chord progressions, and is a great place to start practicing improvisation for soloing.

The basic information about the Minor Pentatonic Scale

Pentatonic scale has 5 notes (hence the Penta- in its name). This is the 1st scale. It is very interesting because most scales you will memorize in the future have 7 notes in them. It has only 2 notes on every string and this makes the pentatonic scale easier to play. The Pentatonic scale includes both major and minor - we will concentrate on the Minor Pentatonic scale in this lesson.

In the scales intro any scale can be described by a plain numeric pattern, and the pentatonic scale can also be described in the same fashion.

Its formula is: 3 2 2 3 2

Lets see how this works in an example, for example G Minor Pentatonic.

We start with G as our base note, and add every step of the pattern to get the next note:

G + 3 semitones is Bb Bb + 2 semitones is C C + 2 semitones is D D + 3 semitones is F F + 2 semitones is G

Thus there you get G minor pentatonic notes that are G, Bb, C, D, F, G. This formula can be implemented with any other root note for the exact scale entirely depending upon your choice.

Furthermore, you can move these patterns up and down the neck. For example, if you want a minor Pentatonic, then you work it out as follows:

The root note A is 2 semitones up from G, so simply move each of these formulas up 2 frets and voila, you will get rules for A minor pentatonic.

Also, the patterns repeat up the neck after the first five - hence if you want to climb up higher, start again with the 1st rule played with the G root note played on the 15th fret instead of the 3rd fret.

The Blues Scale

Another scale, very closely related to the minor pentatonic scale is the blues scale which is used in blues. An attitional leading note to the pentatonic scale is normally imparted by the blues players which is technically known as a flattened 5th - that stands for an additional note in between notes 3 and 4 of the pentatonic scale. When this note is added to the minor pentatonic scale you find the blues scale. The pattern changes when you add that extra note to it and it becomes like this: 3 2 1 1 3 2, and our example G minor Pentatonic becomes G, Bb, C, Db, D, F, G when rewritten as the blues scale.

The Minor Pentatonic Scale in Action

Now we are going to discuss that how to play the Minor Pentatonic and the Blues scale. Both the Pentatonic and the Blues scales are fit for playing Rock and 12 bar blues with. Lets concentrate on 12 bar blues - a very pretty easy concept that is considered as a source of some amazing music over the years.

The chords you apply are a type of I, IV, V progression - what that means isn't actually critical at this point, but the chords you would apply with a G minor or Pentatonic musical scale would be as follows:

G - G - G - G - C - C - G - G - D - C - G - D This chord sequence enables you to play sequences of notes from any of the pentatonic boxes and you will acquire a bluesy kind of improvisation going.

How To Create Backup Copies of Xbox 360 Games

By Jay Wilson

Visit any game shop and you will find Xbox 360 games are quite expensive. The biggest buyers of the Xbox games are kids and teenagers and so it becomes difficult for them to purchase these games at those high prices. It is advisable, therefore, to create backup copies of these games because a disc does not really have a long life and can be easily scratched which means having to buy it again.

Most games you buy have copy protection software embedded onto the disc, but people have founds ways of getting round this in order to make backup copies. this involves the use of Xbox 360 software copying programs. It normally requires four simple steps.

Make yourself familiar with some of the software copying programs by reading a few articles which can be found online. Find one that appeals, download it an install it on your computer.

Place the original Xbox game disc into the CD or DVD drive and start the copying program going. You will observe that the software reads the whole of the game disc and asks where to save it to on your computer. You need to select the location and save the game in order to copy it. This step may take some time which depends on the size of the game. When the game is saved to your computer, you can now place a blank disc and copy the game to it. You are now in a position to make as many copies as you need.

This is by far the most practical and easy way of saving money as you will not need to keep buying those games again and again. Just the initial expense will help you make as many copies as you need. Game copying software is also a more sensible way than installing mod chips inside your console, which can be quite complicated. This is a much easier and hassle free way.

To back up your X box 360 games is an easy method if you use the correct copying software and can prevent you from losing your valuable games.

A Beginner's Introduction to Carp Fishing Gear

By Tony G. Stevenson

One of the most popular freshwater fish for anglers is the carp, which gets a lot of attention in Europe, but is still struggling to catch on in the United States. Carp fishing is a popular outdoor activity, and the large size and good fight of these fish is sure to help the growth of this sport continue. One thing every would be carper needs, however, is good fishing equipment.

One of the most important parts of getting good gear is obviously the fishing rod. A good carp rod will be medium action, and long - generally at least six feet long, although longer can be better. This gives the strength and flexibility needed for carp fishing.

When you're considering fishing rods, obviously you also need to consider reels. Open faced reels should also be the only type you consider, although this is true of almost any good fishing rod. In addition, you want the reel to be large enough to hold at least 150 yards 12 pound test line.

Finding the right bait is important with any type of fish. Carp aren't picky eaters, but some bait is going to work better than others. While many bass anglers love rapalas, the best tackle for carp is actually sticky and smelly bait. There are many specialty carp baits available, so test around and see what the carp in your area like best.

More advanced carpers will often use racks with several rods, or "pods," and set them all up with bait and wait for any carp to show. These rod holders can be very expensive, but also free up the hands for anglers who don't mind catching up on a good book while waiting for the trophy carp to show.

Without the right fishing line, the rest is moot. For carp the absolute "lightest" fishing line you want is 12 pound test line. Heavier line isn't a bad idea, either.

A beginning carp fisher can get all the tackle and gear needed for a fairly inexpensive price. Between rod, reel, line, and bait you can start out for well under $100 in most areas. This is a fantastic fresh water fish to pursue, and one that lives up to its reputation as a fighter.

These are the basic things you have to look at when considering carp fishing gear. If you look at every topic and make an intelligent and educated decision, you'll be enjoying pulling in the trophies in no time at all!

The Peculiar Ways of the Heene Family

By Peter Higgins

This has been a wacky week in the news world, thanks to the crazy story of the Heenes. It all started with a police report that stated that their youngest son Falcon had been flown away in a flying saucer that the family had built.

This was no ordinary balloon, it was one shaped and painted like a spacecraft. Filled with helium, it quickly ascended into the air and the media chased it down, everyone having feared the worst for Falcon Heene.

Amazingly, the saucer had a soft landing onto the ground but people were still naturally worried and fearing the worst. Things took an even more interesting turn when Falcon wasn't actually inside the saucer. Very shortly thereafter, the family alerted authorities that he had been in the attic all along.

Shortly after this all occurred, the family decided to conduct an interview with CNN. While telling their story, Falcon had inadvertently told the camera that he was hiding because the parents had asked him to. This set off a chain of confusion and speculation about the entire incident.

This led many to speculate that the Heenes had staged the entire incident, which raised serious ethical questions. How could someone pretend that the life of their son was on the line, simply for the prospect of fame?

The entire ordeal ran a cost of $2 million, and many are wondering if the Heenes should be criminally charged for this mess should the facts show that they were responsible for it.

Having cost the government and news organizations over 2 million dollars, any other crime that "stole" money from people would carry criminal charges.

The Heenes will likely be charged from here, and they deserve whatever they get for such immature and selfish behavior. I pity the children who have to grow up with such parents. They don't deserve to endure whatever it is that they're about to go through.
